By leveraging serverless technologies with AWS Serverless Services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, and AWS AppSync, the LOPhils’ software engineering team can focus on features that customers want without worrying about servers and infrastructure.

On Increased Operational Efficiency

In terms of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Implementation: Provisioning an end-to-end infrastructure before the project usually takes days or weeks, depending on the availability of their resource person. With the implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code, LOPhils reduced deployment time to 10 minutes. Utilizing serverless framework templates created by Apper allowed LOPhils to quickly provision or replicate resources without depending on a single person. In line with that, consistent application environment configuration reduced application bugs and cloud infrastructure errors resulting in increased productivity and better software.

On the aspect of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Implementation: Automated provisioning of applications and infrastructure eliminates their dependency on a single person allowing them to enable multiple people for their deployments.
